We use state of the art acoustic modelling software to assist in the design process. This includes 3D environmental noise mapping involving the detailed analysis of external noise sources and visualisation of the resulting sound propagation across any site. The noise maps can be used to establish and visualise predicted façade levels and sound contours to inform the decision-making process for various design scenarios.
In addition, we offer 3D geometrical room acoustic modelling using specialist software. This uses computational modelling techniques to accurately assess room acoustic environments including reverberation times, early reflection analysis and speech intelligibility. The software enables various design options to be explored, with both visual and audio outputs to enable informed design decisions to be made.
We present audio simulations to clients to demonstrate the subjective implications of various design scenarios to inform the decision-making process.
