About Quantum Acoustics

Quantum Acoustics was formed in 2022 and has quickly become a successful and respected sound and vibration consultancy. We believe that specialised acoustic advice from a fully qualified, experienced noise consultant must be clear and robust. Therefore, our approach to noise and vibration consultancy is targeted and practical.

Our practice is led by five highly skilled and experienced engineers who, between them, have over 150 years of practical consultancy experience and a proven track record in project delivery. The strength and expertise of the practice are further expanded by our dedicated, enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled consulting team, each of whom brings unique expertise to our services, from highly experienced computational noise modellers to forensic audio analysis specialists.

We currently have offices in London, Surrey and Birmingham and work on projects throughout the UK, Europe and around the world. Our team provides expert advice and consultancy services to support the planning and development aspirations of our clients, and the detailed acoustic design and delivery of all building types, including residential, educational, healthcare, industrial, leisure and retail, to name a few sectors within which we deliver.

Founded in 2022 by industry leaders Simon Hancock, John Gibbs, John Ridpath, and Andrew Fermer and strengthened in 2023 with the addition of former colleague Paul Gray, our active directors have an astonishing 150 years of collective experience.

We aim to be a successful acoustic consultancy and redefine the industry with our expertise, commitment, and innovation. Our vision is to collaborate with existing and future clients to develop groundbreaking solutions and finely tuned to individual needs.
