Quantum Acoustics would like to introduce and welcome Raquel Villasante, our new Senior Acoustics Consultant.

Raquel holds an MSc in Engineering Geology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Acoustic. She gained extensive experience working on major infrastructure projects across Spain and UK involving geotechnical and structural monitoring. In 2016 she transferred her skills into consultancy and successfully joined Mayer Brown as Environmental Consultant, initially engaged in both Air Quality and Noise projects; she focused on Acoustics after coursing the diploma, covering all aspects of noise and vibration.

Raquel is a Member of the Institute of Acoustic and the Institution of Environmental Sciences. She has a particular strength in acoustic modelling. She has considerable knowledge of environmental acoustics and has produced many Noise Assessments to accompany development proposals/EIA’s
