Westminster Kingsway College, Soho Centre

The project comprised the refurbishment of the existing Victorian School site to create a new Digital Skills Centre, developed to harness the aspiration and skills of the booming creative tech industry hub growing in Soho and its surrounding areas. The scheme included multimedia editing spaces and a TV studio in the basement.

QA were appointed to undertake an acoustic review of the proposed design for the proposed new/modified teaching spaces, and provide acoustic design advice covering sound insulation, room finishes/reverberation and buildings services. We were also appointed to address planning issues associated with the existing and proposed external building services plant.
