The project comprised the refurbishment and transformation of the existing workshop spaces to provide new multi-purpose ‘maker spaces’, combining general teaching spaces with a specialist area, designed to meet subject specific curriculum.

QA were appointed to undertake an acoustic review of the proposed design for the proposed new/modified teaching spaces, and provide acoustic design advice covering sound insulation, room finishes/reverberation and buildings services. We were also appointed to address planning issues associated with the existing and proposed external building services plant.
